1919 to 2019

100 years and still going strong

August the 14th 1919 saw the official birth of  Crookes Working Mens Club Ltd. Although the roots of the club go back a little further this is the date we officially became recognised as a business.

So to celebrate we are going to do what we do best and have a PARTY. Details are still in development but so far we've booked........

The Sleaze Sisters. If you think you know glam rock you've seen nothing until you've seen these boys. (Friday 9th)

Thor. Gods of Rock. Probably Yorkshires favorite Rock Band. (Friday 9th)

Crookes Fest.... Open air live music from 12 until 7. (Saturday 10th)

Family Beach Party.... Who needs a beach to have a beach party, Not us. Ice cream Van, Punch and Judy show, Animal petting zoo, and more to come. (Saturday 10th)

All comers bowling competition (Sunday 11th)

Car boot and Table top sale (Sunday 11th)

AND AS ALWAYS............

Its all going to be for a good cause. We will be raising money all weekend for Sheffield Children's Hospital. All events will be free to attend (Car boot/Table top chargable, Non Members £5 door tax for Friday 9th) but don't be surprised if we shake a collection bucket at you as you go around to raise funds for our adopted charity.
